Comcast's Sky bid bolsters FTSE ahead of Fed comments

LONDON (Reuters) - Comcast's bid for pay-TV group Sky and strong results from housebuilder Persimmon kept Britain's FTSE 100 in positive territory on Tuesday, as investors awaited the first public comments from Jerome Powell as chairman of the Federal Reserve.
