Number of foreigners visiting Britain rises 8 percent year-on-year in second quarter

LONDON (Reuters) - The number of foreign residents visiting Britain for tourism and other purposes during the three months to June was 8 percent higher than a year earlier, figures from the Office for National Statistics showed on Friday.
