Syrian rebels vow to resist army advances in Aleppo

BEIRUT (Reuters) - The Syrian government said it had recaptured a district of Aleppo on Wednesday, but rebels vowed to fight on despite losing a third of their sector of the city in recent days, bringing them to the brink of a catastrophic defeat.
