Japanese scientist wins 2016 Nobel medicine prize

STOCKHOLM (Reuters) - Yoshinori Ohsumi won the 2016 Nobel prize for medicine or physiology for his discovery of mechanisms for degrading and recycling cellular components, the award-giving body said on Monday.
