White House condemns China for 'coercing' airlines on Taiwan language
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The White House on Saturday harshly criticized China's efforts to require foreign airlines to change how they refer to Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau, labelling the effort "Orwellian nonsense."
