StanChart still faces long haul on road to recovery
HONG KONG/LONDON (Reuters) - Standard Chartered Plc beat expectations with a 20 percent rise in first quarter pre-tax profit on Wednesday, but disappointing income showed the long road ahead for its returns to meet targets after years of restructuring.
